The BASE Rack takes accessories and cargo loading to a whole new level of simplicity, speed, and personalization. The BASE Rack is fully-welded aluminum for lightweight strength that doesn't flex under load. It can therefore be mounted close to the vehicle roof for a slimline aesthetic and reduced drag. Its dovetail extrusion attachment system runs the full perimeter of the rack and along each internal beam providing endless mounting and attachment options. Unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack dovetail system doesn't collect dust and debris. This kit includes a 49 in (L) x 45 in (W) BASE Rack, mount kit with wind deflector to suit the Toyota Tacoma along with full guard rails. The rails attach quickly and easily to the dovetail extrusion around the rack's perimeter with some additional fixing points at the rack corners. A full guard rail system can be taken on or off in just a few minutes. The rails running around the perimeter of the rack act as a load block, helping to prevent larger items from shifting when loading and unloading, as well as during transit.
