The stock inner tie-rod ball-joint joint on the 1998-2012 Rangers is known for failing under off-road conditions, so we came up with a solution for this problem. The steering clevis is CNC machined from heat-treated 17-4 H1150 stainless steel along with the custom bolt that attaches it to the factory steering rack. We us a FK 3/4" JMX series heim with a pair of stainless spacers. We also machine the tie rod that goes from the heim to the factory outer tie-rod from 17-4 H1150 stainless for optimum strength. This steering upgrade is mandatory for Rangers if you drive your truck off-road. These bolt right up and solves the problem with the stock steering parts. Fits both coil spring and torsion bar trucks. Replaces the weak inner ball-joint and tie-rod Machined from 17-4 H1150 stainless steel FK 3/4" JMX Heims Made in the USA.
