This American Thunder system is specially designed for 1967-1968 Camaro and Firebirds and is perfect for the person looking for a complete Crossmember-Back dual exhaust system. With an easy-fit in mind, this exhaust system is manufactured as a true dual exhaust using 2.50-inch aluminized steel tubing throughout, includes a built-in H-pipe design and delivers improved throttle response, power with a deep muscle car sound. The mandrel-bent tubing flows into a pair of Super 44 mufflers with 2.50-inch tailpipes exiting in the factory location behind the rear wheels pointing down just below the quarter panel. The system delivers a moderate to aggressive interior and exterior tone that's suited for the enthusiast who wants their performance to be heard. Notes: Fits convertibles by spacing down the factory convertible body brace by approximately .375-inch, or you can replace the factory body brace with a Hotchkis Performance body brace part #1404.
