The collet design of the RockNut provides a steel nut with a female taper and a steel bung or aluminum control arm with an intersecting male taper. When tight, the components are bound together and are bound onto the threads of the suspension joint with incredible force. This RockNut kit for suspension fabricators provides you with a 3/4 in.-16 RH thread steel nut and steel weld-in bung that is designed to be inserted into a 1 1/4 in. x .095 in. wall tube. Finish is black zinc plating on the nut and raw, weldable steel on the bung.
